The Shifting Sands of Xeperi

Welcome to the Shifting Sands, a refuge for those between sleep and wakefulness, where a true seeker may find respite.
Xeperi, or Khephri, is one of the neteru, or gods, of the ancient Egyptians. His symbol, the hieroglyph for his name, was the scarab beetle pushing the disk of the sun. As the scarab rolled balls of dung, so did the Egyptians believe that Xeperi pushed the sun up over the horizon to bring the dawn.
Xeperi is often called "the self-created one" because of his name, which translates as "I have come into existence." He was associated with the ability for self-renewal and self-generation, creating himself from himself each morning.
This is a new page, and therefore is in very early stages of development. Please return here in future days to see what late arrivals have come to join the gathering.
For now, I will tell you a little about what sort of things you can expect to find here, and where I am going with this venture into webspace. As the resources to be found here on the web have often been of great help to me in my own journeys, I felt that putting something up for others to find would only be fitting. I am involved in a number of religious and philosophical organizations, as well as having a number of personal interests on a more worldly level.
As time goes on I hope to supply information on:
-Paganism (particularly Asatru, which is a form of Norse/Germanic reconstructionism)
-Magickal Practice (primarily Runic magic, with other influences as well)
-Setianism (the beliefs and practices of the membership of the Temple of Set, below)
-Cats (great and small, wild and domestic, in all their furry glory)
-Causes I support (such as Free Tibet and the Hornocker Wildlife Institute)
-Roleplaying Games (White Wolf's World of Darkness, Chaosium's Call of Cthulhu, and WoTC's AD&D)
-and stuff
